The West Milford Soccer Club Youth Scholarship is an Annual Scholarship recognizing High School Senior Athletes. These Athletes have exemplified and upheld the utmost standards in Sportsmanship and Leadership, both on and off the field. They have demonstrated and have met the highest standards in both their community and in their overall academic achievements. They are the foundation of leadership in our community and have achieved success on the highest level. 

To qualify and apply for the WMSC Youth Soccer Scholarship each candidate must meet the following criteria: 

• Have maintained a minimum 3.0 or higher GPA average.
• Have actively participated in the WMSC programs a minimum of three(3) years 
• Continue to play soccer at a High School level
• Have demonstrated leadership both on and off the field of play 
• Show active participation in Community Involvement
• Will be attending a College or University

Candidates will be required to submit a written essay with a minimum of three(3) recommendation letters. 

The Candidates will be reviewed by the WMSC Board and two(2) finalists will be chosen prior to the end of the school year. 

Candidates will be notified by the WMSC Board and will be presented with a Check for up to $1000 each.

Scholarship specifics: 2 Scholarship funds will be set aside annually. $1000 will be for set aside for Female Athlete(s) and $1000 for Male Athlete(s). If multiple qualified candidates are presented,  the dollar value of the Scholarship can be divided equally amongst the candidates for each group, or as seen fit by the WMSC Board of Trustees. (ie. If 2 qualified candidates are presented in the Boys group, the board may divide the Scholarship into two $500 Scholarships, one for each candidate. )
